Vyacheslav Feklin: Ukraine no longer has to convince General Electric that it is worth the investment

"A breakthrough in the understanding of Ukraine happened after our company's top management visited the country a few years ago," said General Electric Director General in Ukraine Vyacheslav Feklin at TRUMAN Agency Reception and discussion on the successes and failures of Ukraine in internal and external communications.

The thing is that unfortunately external information about Ukraine does not reflect the real situation in the country.

"Now, I no longer have a task to persuade anyone in General Electric that Ukraine is a country worth  investing in. For us, this has already got clear. But the way to such understanding was not easy," says Feklin.

The company believes that Ukraine, of course, is moving forward and has a high potential. However, it needs a more lively implementation.

"We are still dissatisfied with certain moments  which we are struggling to overcome. The rule of law remains important issue for all foreign companies and all market players. The courts we can trust and the law that meets the expectations of the companies is what would significantly change the situation on the market and the rules of the game for the better, " says General Electric Director General in Ukraine.

The head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli also emphasized the critical role of the rule of law at the meeting.
